Salem University Lokoja (SU) Has Secured Full Accreditation for Seven (7) Programmes from the National Universities Commission.
Salem University Lokoja, located in Kogi State, Nigeria, has received full accreditation for seven academic programmes from the National Universities Commission (NUC). This accomplishment is a testament to the university’s commitment to providing high-quality education and its dedication to academic excellence.
The NUC conducted an accreditation visit to Salem University Lokoja in November and December to assess the academic programmes submitted for accreditation. Following a thorough review, the NUC granted full accreditation to the seven courses, allowing the institution to continue operating as a full-fledged university.

- BSc Computer Science
- BSc Information Technology

Professor Alewo Johnson-Akubo, the Vice Chancellor of Salem University, expressed his delight at the news, stating that the accreditation of all their programmes in the seven colleges was a significant development for the institution.
