Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) College of Nursing Sciences, Makurdi Announces the Sales of the Post Basic Nursing Programmes Admission Form, Courses, Admission Requirements, Application Guidelines, Deadline, Screening Date, Time, Venue, Fees, Registration Schedule and Lecture Commencement Dates for 2024/2025 Academic Session.
The Management of the Department of Post Basic Nursing Programmes, Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) Campus, Makurdi, is pleased to announce the commencement of sales of admission forms for the 2024/2025 academic session. This follows the recent approval by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria for three (3) Post Basic Nursing specialty programmes. Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into the following programmes:
- Mental and Psychiatric Nursing – Duration: 18 Months
- Nephrology Nursing – Duration: 12 Months
- Ophthalmic Nursing – Duration: 12 Months
Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate with a current practicing license.
- Obtain five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings (a combination of WAEC and NECO is acceptable).
- Have a minimum of one (1) year post-qualification experience.
- Provide proof of employer approval for full-time participation in the programme.
Procedure for the Purchase of Admission Forms
Forms are available at the CMD’s Conference Room, BSUTH Campus, Makurdi, upon presentation of a payment receipt for ₦35,000 (Thirty-Five Thousand Naira) only.
