Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), is set to broaden its academic offerings following the approval of new postgraduate and undergraduate programs by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
In a letter dated 11th December, 2024, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor and signed by the Acting Director of Academic Planning, Abubakar M. Girei, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Commission, the NUC approved the commencement of these programs. The new academic offerings will be run on a full-time basis at the Main Campus of the University, effective from the 2024/2025 academic session.

- Ph.D. Financial Sector Regulations
- Ph.D. Money and Capital Markets
- Ph.D. Development Finance
- M.Sc. & Ph.D. Finance
Newly Approved Undergraduate Programs:
- B.Sc. Environmental Health Science
- B.A. History and Diplomatic Studies
- B.Ed. Early Child Education
- B.Ed. Primary Education Studies
- B.Sc. Architecture
- B.Sc. Building Technology
- B.Sc. Data Science
- B.Sc. Cyber Security
- B.Sc. Broadcasting
- B.Sc. Public Relations
- B.Sc. Journalism and Media Studies
- B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies
- B.Sc. Demography and Social Statistics
- B.Sc. Statistics and Data Analytics
The approval of these programs follows a resource verification visit by panels of experts who assessed the University’s human and material resources to ensure they meet the requirements for the establishment of these academic offerings.
