The Benue State University, BSUM Management Arrest Twelve Students for Forgery of Fake School Fees Receipt and Exam Cards to Gain Entrance to Examination Halls.
The Management of Benue State University, Makurdi has discovered that some students of the University who have defaulted in the payment of their Sundry charges have resorted to forging payment receipts of the University.So far, about twelve students of the University who have engaged in this malpractice have been nabbed and handed over to the appropriate authorities for necessary action.
For the avoidance of doubt, Management of the University has empowered
and equipped the Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Directorate and the Bursary Department to discover such criminal cases
with ease.
Management hereby appeals to parents and guardians of indigent students to explore one of several windows provided for registration of this category of students instead of resorting to these criminal measures as the full weight of the law will be brought to bear on the culprits.
