National Open University (NOUN) 19th Virtual (Online) Matriculation Ceremony Schedule Date, Time, Venue and Requirements for Freshers/Newly Admitted Students for 2020 Academic Session [UPDATED].

LATEST UPDATE: NOUN TO HOLD 19TH MATRICULATION CEREMONY ONLINE
You may wish to recall that the NOUN 19th Matriculation Ceremony which was slated for Saturday, 4th April, 2020 was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Management at Its 2s Virtual Meeting held on Wednesday. 3rd June, 2020 has directed that the Matriculation Ceremony be conducted virtually on Saturday, 13th June, 2020 by the various Study Centres.

The affected candidates can sign the Matriculation Oath when the restrictions are lifted.

Following the publication of the 2020 Academic Calendar, the 19th Matriculation Ceremony of the National Open University, NOUN has been re-scheduled to hold on as follows:

NOUN New Matriculation Date: Saturday 4th April, 2020
Time: 9.00am
Venue: NOUN Study Centers Nationwide

Prospective students are advised to conclude all registration processes ahead of the matriculation ceremony.

Therefore, The collection of matriculation gowns commences on 21st March and will end on the 4th April, 2020 (before the commencement of the Noun New students’ Matriculation Ceremony).

Requirement For The Collection of Matriculation Gowns

  • All students are expected to come with their printed Admission letters and Course registration forms.
  • The academic gowns are to be returned between the 6th April - 10th April, 2020.
  • Most study centres may ask for a token at the point of collection of gowns and refund it when you returned the matric gowns.

Kindly Note that there shall be sanctions for any damages done to the collected gowns and matriculation caps.

Your prompt action will be highly appreciated.
