National Open University (NOUN) 19th New Matriculation Ceremony Schedule Date, Time, Venue and Requirements for Freshers/Newly Admitted Students for 2020 Academic Session [POSTPONED].

LATEST UPDATE: NOUN POSTPONES 19TH MATRICULATION CEREMONY
The Management at its meeting held today, 19th March, 2020 has decided that the Matriculation Ceremony be postponed indefinitely.

This decision is in line with the Federal Government initiatives to avoid or prevent the threat of health dangers associated with COVID-19 pandemic.

With this development, Study Centre Directors are to inform all intending matriculating students of this postponement and to put on hold all activities up for the Matriculation Ceremony.

Management hereby regrets any inconveniences that this postponement caused.

Following the publication of the 2020 Academic Calendar, the 19th Matriculation Ceremony of the National Open University, NOUN has been re-scheduled to hold on as follows:

NOUN New Matriculation Date: Saturday 4th April, 2020
Time: 9.00am
Venue: NOUN Study Centers Nationwide

Prospective students are advised to conclude all registration processes ahead of the matriculation ceremony.

Therefore, The collection of matriculation gowns commences on 21st March and will end on the 4th April, 2020 (before the commencement of the Noun New students’ Matriculation Ceremony).

Requirement For The Collection of Matriculation Gowns

  • All students are expected to come with their printed Admission letters and Course registration forms.
  • The academic gowns are to be returned between the 6th April - 10th April, 2020.
  • Most study centres may ask for a token at the point of collection of gowns and refund it when you returned the matric gowns.

Kindly Note that there shall be sanctions for any damages done to the collected gowns and matriculation caps.

Your prompt action will be highly appreciated.
