UNIZIK Registration & Physical Clearance 2021/2022 [Freshmen]
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) Physical / Biometric Verification / Registration Exercise Clearance Guidelines, Requirements and Time-Table Schedule for Freshers / Newly Admitted Students for 2021/2022 Academic Session [UPDATED].

This is to inform All newly admitted students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) that the Physical / Biometric Capture Process schedule for 2021/2022 Academic Session has been announced.


UNIZIK Registration/Physical clearance exercise will commence on Monday 17th January, 2022.

Latest Update: This is to notify all the students admitted in the 2021/2022 academic session that the Physical clearance/Online Registration exercise ends on Thursday 27th October, 2022.

Concerned students who are yet to conclude their Physical clearance/Online Registration exercise should proceed to the Admissions Unit before the above stated deadline.

Students who have completed their Physical clearance/Online Registration exercise are by this notice directed to pay their school fees, print out their registration numbers and proceed to the Admissions Unit for final documentation.

UNIZIK Registration / Physical Clearance Exercise Guidelines and Requirements 2021/2022

1. Meet your Faculty ICT Officer for your biometric verification.
2. Make yourself available at the University ICT's Center in the University's Digital Library
3. Adhere strictly to your time and date as failure to do so will attract severe penalties.

NOTE: A few other verification's will be made at this point and you will be prompted to present the following documents:

a. O' Level Results Verification Status
b. Local Government Identification Status
c. JAMB Biometric Verification Status
d. FACULTY Officer Contact

To this effect all registered students are required to print out their registration/matric number slip after payment of the school fees and thereafter proceed to the Admissions Office for final documentation.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO UNIZIK FRESH STUDENTS:

  • Endevour to do your physical clearance, pay your school fees and print out your Unizik Reg number.
  • You must adhere to the date and time for your biometric verification (STEP 2), irrespective of any registration process you are carrying out as you may not have another opportunity to be rescheduled
  • Failure to do your PHYSICAL CLEARANCE within the registration period, Automatically terminates your Admission
  • Failure to do your COURSE REGISTRATION automatically disqualifies you from writing Your EXAMINATIONS
  • you can delete any course you registered in error before the commencement of first semester examination
  • Make sure to get your UNIZIK (School) Reg Number before the commencement of First Semester Examination
  • MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT YOUR REGISTRATION PRINTOUTS IN A FILE TO THE HOD OF YOUR DEPARTMENT

Below are the documents you need to come with for the physical clearance process
  • Birth Certificate / Baptismal Certificate
  • Online Waec Result Printout
  • Admission Status Slip
  • Original Jamb Result Slip
  • Original Jamb Admission Letter
  • Local Government Identification Certificate
  • Secondary School Testimonial


The management hereby advises all and sundry to stick to schedule strictly to avoid being disappointed by their refusal to attend to you.
