Following the announcement of the released results for the 2021 NECO Nov/Dec External Examination, the National Examination Council (NECO), has released the results statics.
According to the NECO Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, in a statement on Thursday,
said the council has released the 2021 November/December Senior School
Certificate Examination ,SSCE just after sixty-four (64) days after the last paper was written with a 62.59% of the candidates scoring at
least five credits and above in both English Language and Mathematics.

According to the NECO boss, “the Number of candidates that registered for the examination was 47, 916.
“The number of candidates that sat for the English Language was 45,821 out of which 36,116, representing 78.82% made Credit and above.
” 45,756 Candidates sat for Mathematics, out of which 35,706, representing 78.04percent made Credit and above.
“The number of candidates who got five (5) Credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics is 29,342, representing 62.59%.
“On the other hand, 37,991 candidates, representing 81.04%, got five (5) Credits and above, irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
“The Number of Candidates booked for various forms of malpractice in
2021 is 4,454, as against 6,465 in 2020, which shows a significant
decline in the number of malpractice cases.”
Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi explained that based on approval of the Federal Ministry of Education, NECO has scheduled her public examinations for year 2022 as follows:
National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for admission of JSS 1 students into Federal Unity Colleges is scheduled for Saturday 23rd April, 2022.
Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal is scheduled from Monday 20th June to Saturday 6th August, 2022.
Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is scheduled for Monday 9th May, 2022 to Monday 30th May, 2022 in order to enable students at that level cover enough subject matter for the examination.
