This is to inform the general public that that sale of form for Admission into Post Basic Nursing programmes of the Abia State College of Nursing and Sciences (ABCONS) for 2025/2026 Academic Year has commenced.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into Abia State College of Nursing and Sciences (ABCONS) Post Basic Nursing programmes.
Sales of forms begins Monday 23rd December 2024.
RECOMMENDED: Abia State Schools of Nursing Umuahia & Amachara Form 2025/2026.
The Post Basic Nursing program is specially designed for registered midwives who wish to become registered nurses. The program last for duration of eighteen months.
Admission Requirements:
Candidates for Post Basic Nursing and Post Basic Midwifery must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Method of Application
Candidates are to log into the college website https://abscons.org and follow the instructions to make payment at the bank and fill the online form.Candidates should ensure the successful submission of completed online forms at the end of the process.
NOTE THAT THERE IS NO CASH PAYMENT!!
Entrance Examination Schedule
- Date: Friday 7th February 2025 (Post-Basic Nursing)
- Time: 9 AM prompt
- Venue: Michael Okpara University of Agriculture CBT Center, Umudike
Candidates are required to bring the following:
(a) NIN slip
(b) Printout of their registration slip from their email
(c) Original and duplicate copy of their IGR evidence of payment
Note: Phones are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
Oral Interview Schedule
Oral Interview for Successful Candidates:
- Date: 11th–12th February 2025
- Time: 9 AM
- Venue: School of Nursing, inside Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia
Candidates must come with originals of their credentials.
