Lagos State University, LASU Vice Chancellor Directs Immediate Suspension of Security Personnel for Assaulting Student... to Face Panel on Wednesday 13th March, 2019.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun, SAN, has been duly briefed of an unfortunate incident which occurred this evening Friday, 8th March, 2019 at the University Main Campus, Ojo between a student and some campus marshal.A misunderstanding had occurred between a student and some members of the LASU Security Unit over alleged reckless driving which eventually led to physical assault on the student.
The Vice-Chancellor has directed that all the security personnel involved in the incidence be suspended forthwith and will appear before a fact finding panel on Wednesday, 13th March, 2019.
The Vice-Chancellor in the circumstance implores all students to please go about their normal activities.
