Governing Council of Osun State University, UNIOSUN Approves Fifty Percent Slash in School Fees for UNIOSUN Staffs and their Children.
The Governing Council of Osun State University has set another pace in its commitment in improving the welfare of its staff, following its approval a 50% reduction in tuition fees payable by students whose parents are staff of the University.The governing body had graciously gave this approval as recommended by the Management at its meeting held on Thursday, 9th of August, 2018
Professor Labode Popoola led administration made the recommendation to
the apex body of the institution having received and considered the
report of Senate Committee on staff Welfare.
By this development, confirmed staff members who have their biological children as students of the University are the target beneficiaries of this laudable scheme.
No fewer than a maximum of four (4) biological children of staff could benefit from the scheme.
Similarly, earlier this year, the Management of the University had also approved and commenced health insurance scheme for staff members of the University with a view to improving staff health leaving standard.
The surpassed scholarship scheme is another giant stride of Labode Popoola’s led administration in improving welfare of staff members of the institution.
