211,000 Candidates Sits for 2025 JAMB Mock Exam Nationwide
Two Hundred and Eleven Thousand (211,000) Candidates Sis for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mock Examination which was Held on 10th April, 2025.

A total of 211,000 candidates on Thursday 10th April, 2025 sat for the JAMB mock UTME organized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) across the country.


This was made known by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede on Thursday 10th April while monitoring the exercise at a CBT centre in Bwari, Abuja.

The examination was conducted at the approved computer-based centres (CBT) located in designated examination towns across the country.

The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede said the essence of the mock exam was to test the capacity and suitability of the centres.

The introduction of the Mock-UTME by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board was aimed at providing the Board with the opportunity to assess innovations that would be used for the main examination as well as allow candidates to have hands-on experiences on the CBT environment.

The exercise, which was introduced over seven years ago, has availed the Board a unique opportunity to trial innovations that have significantly improved on the Board’s ability to deliver world-class assessment exercise.

The Registrar, who said the only way to pass UTME is by studying hard, expressed concerns that some candidates are patronizing rogue websites to cheat in the exam, adding that JAMB has also opened a decoy website targeting such individuals.

He said it that the results of all candidates who participated in the UTME Mock examination will be released today being Friday 11th April, 2025.
