350,000 Candidates Sits for 2020 JAMB Mock Exam Nationwide

Over Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand (350,000) Candidates Sat / Wrote 2020 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mock Examination Held Across the States on Tuesday 19th February, 2020.

A total of 350,000 candidates on Tuesday 19th February, 2020 sat for the mock UTME organized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) across the country.

The Board’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin, who spoke in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, said that the exercise was a success.

Dr Fabian Benjamin who monitored the mock examination in Abuja said the motive was to test run all the Computer Based Test (CBT) centres accredited for the examination.

He disclosed that only 64 CBT centres out of the total 712 centres earlier accredited were used for the optional mock examination.

The JAMB Registrar, Oloyede, Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin and Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu monitored the conduct of the examination in Abuja.

Over 1.9 million candidates registered for the 2020 UTME, which will commence on March 14 to April 4, in all the accredited CBT centres across the country.
