JAMB Mock Exam Date, Time, Venue & Fee 2023/2024: Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) Optional Mock Registration and Examination Date, Time, Venue and Fee / Charge for 2023/2024 UTME [RESCHEDULED].

All Candidates who registered for the 2023 JAMB UTME Examinations and choose to participate in the OPTIONAL MOCK Examination are hereby informed that the examination schedule has been announced

Previously done last year and previous years, the Board has disclosed that the mock examination will be conducted in all the accredited CBT centres to prepare and familiarize INTERESTED Candidates with the CBT environment.

2023 JAMB MOCK examinations is for candidates who indicated interest for the exam during the normal UTME registration period.

The RESCHEDULED JAMB MOCK examination shall commence on Tuesday, 18th April, 2023 at exactly 8am to 4pm.

It would be recalled that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had earlier conducted its 2023 Mock-UTME on Thursday, 30th March, 2023, in 725 centres across the country.

It is, therefore, in order to give those candidates, who were unable to sit the examination owing to no fault of theirs, the opportunity to take the examination that the mock examination had been rescheduled to hold on Tuesday, 18th April, 2023

However, the exercise ran into some technical hitches in some centres thereby denying some candidates the opportunity to sit the examination.

The Board’s mock examination was designed for the purpose of testing its preparedness and that of its partners for the UTME as well as give prospective candidates the opportunity to have hands-on experience of the CBT test environment.

Candidates are to start printing of their MOCK Examination Notification Slips as from ONE WEEK TO THE ACTUAL MOCK EXAM DATE (10TH APRIL, 2023).

Non-JAMB CBT Centres are allowed to collect, through their bank accounts, a separate One Thousand Naira (₦1,000) only, for mock exercise from only interested candidate(s) after notification of centre has been received by the candidate(s). The payment for mock examination by the candidate shall be made to the centre to which the candidate is assigned after the notification of assigned centres for the mock examination

No Association or body is permitted to run any mock examination on behalf of JAMB.

Candidates Posted to JAMB Offices Nationwide for the Mock Examination will be exempted from paying the MOCK Fee but Free of Charge for the Examination.

ABOUT JAMB UTME MOCK EXAMINATION

The Board introduced the Mock examination (optional) in 2017 to avail candidates of the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the conduct of a computerized test, fine tune the Board’s examination processes, and test the facilities at the CBT centres before the main examination for a hitch free examination.

The Mock examination is also an opportunity for the candidates, particularly those coming in contact with computers for the first time, to eliminate any phobia.

 During the registration exercise, candidates who express interest are given the opportunity to take the optional mock examination before the main examination.

This year’s exercise is the seventh in the series of Mock examinations conducted by the Board. In the meantime, all arrangements have been concluded for the conduct of the Mock Examination and the 2023 UTME.
