JAMB Postpones 2022 Optional Mock Exam [See New Date]
Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Announces Postponement / Rescheduling of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Optional Mock Examination.

This is to inform all candidates who have successfully registered for the 2022 UTME and indicated interest to participate in the 2022 UTME Mock examination that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the postponement of the exam earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday 16th April, 2022.

According to JAMB's head of media, Fabian Benjamin in a statement he disclosed that the 2022 mock exam earlier scheduled to hold 16th April, 2022 has been postponed to 9th April, 2022.

This change is owing to the realization that 16th April 2022, earlier chosen, is Easter Saturday, a day celebrated by Christians as a Holy Saturday as it ends the Lenten Season and falls on the day before Easter Sunday. Candidates who have registered and have indicated interest to take the mock are to note this change of date.

However, the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination is fixed for 6th to 16th May 2022.

The Board also noted that some candidates are sending their details for the creation of profile codes wrongly. The right process is to send the word “NIN” followed by a space and the eleven digits NIN number to 55019.

Candidates are to also note that only the SIM that is linked to candidates' NIN can be used to send the NIN to 55019.
