Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Announces Postponement / Rescheduling of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Optional Mock Examination.

This is to inform all candidates who have successfully registered for the 2021 UTME and indicated interest to participate in the 2021 UTME Mock examination that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the postponement of the exam earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday 20th May, 2021.

According to JAMB's head of media, Fabian Benjamin in a statement he disclosed that the 2021 mock exam earlier scheduled to hold 20th May has been postponed to 3rd June, 2021.

This change is a result of some ongoing adjustments in the Board’s operational processes. Candidates who have registered and have indicated interest to take the mock are to note this change of date.

Also, the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination earlier fixed for 5th to 19th June 2021 has been moved to begin from 19th June, 2021 and will run until 3rd July, 2021 while the ongoing registration has been further extended to May 29th, 2021.

The Board also noted that some candidates are sending their details for the creation of profile codes wrongly. The right process is to send the word “NIN” followed by a space and the eleven digits NIN number to 55019.

Candidates are to also note that only the SIM that is linked to candidates' NIN can be used to send the NIN to 55019.
