AAU Churns Out 8,276 Graduands - [22nd Convocation Ceremony]

Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma Graduates Eight Thousand Two Hundred and Seventy Six (8,276) Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students During the 22nd Convocation Ceremonies for 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 Academic Session.

 This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of the institution in a Press briefing, one of the activities lined out for the 22 Convocation Ceremony of this University.

The 22 Convocation Ceremony is for the Award of Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and Prizes for the graduands of the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 Academic Session has been scheduled to take place from Friday, 11th October, 2019 to Saturday, 19th October, 2019.

The ceremony will commence with thanks and praise to Almighty God for his holy hands in the piloting on the affairs of this University bringing it to unprecedented heights of achievement. 

A total of Eight thousand, two hundred and seventy-six (8276) graduands will be awarded with first degrees; fifty-three (53) with post- graduate Diploma; One hundred forty-six (146) with Master's Degrees and forty-four (44) with Doctorate degrees. The breakdown is as follows:

Other Awards Include:
The award of Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) Honoris Causa will be conferred on His Excellency Adama Barrow, the President of the Republic of Gambia. He has accepted the award and will be in Ambrose Alli University with his Ministers and Ambassador to receive it.

Rtd General Anthony Ukpo, Former Minister of Information of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will be honoured with the degree of Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) Honoris Causa.

Other Awardees are: Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Ainabel, the Ojomo of Ekpoma and Chairman Zeek Group of Companies who has contributed immensely to the development of Ambrose Alli University right from it's inception; Mr. emmanel ikhazobo,chairman eko bank transnational corporation and Dr. dorry afe okojie CEO/MD.daaf Homes and Estates Ltd, Lagos,who would each be honored with Doctor is business administration(DBA)Honoris causa.
