Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for
admission into the following programmes available at the College of Nursing, University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), formerly School of Nursing, University of Benin Teaching Hospital.The sales of Post UTME forms will commence on Thursday 1st June, 2023.
ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates are to enroll for the Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and come with their (JAMB) score sheet with a minimum score of 180.
- ONLY 2023/2024 JAMB RESULT IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ADMISSION SESSION.
DURATION
This is a three (3) year General Nursing Programme leading to the award of Registered Nurse Certificate (RN).ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates should be 17 years and above.
- Must possess the following: WAEC/GCE (O/Level)/SSCE/NECO with five (5) credits in not more than two (2) sittings in the following subjects, English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry..
- Candidate must also possess Registered Midwifery Certificate (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse Certificate (RPN)
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are to proceed to the nearest JAMB accredited center to effect their change of institution to School of Nursing, UBTH, Benin City.Note: This sales of PUTME form is not online.
Application forms are obtainable in person from the office of the Principal with a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only. This should be made payable to UBTH TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT (TSA) VIA THE REMITA PLATFORM IN ANY COMMERCIAL BANK UNDER THE SERVICE TYPE "TRAINING SCHOOL- SCHOOL OF NURSING.
Candidates are to submit four (4) recent coloured passport photographs (taken two weeks prior to the application) while returning the completed application forms.
NOTE: Applicants are to come along with documents stating age, state of origin, local government area, school(s) attended with qualifications obtained.
