2022 NECO BECE Resit Registration Form: National Examination Council (NECO) Basic Education Certification Examination (BECE) Resit Registration Form, Eligibility,  Application Guidelines, Instructions, Examination Dates and Closing Date for Federal Unity Colleges, Armed Forces Secondary Schools 2021/2022 Academic Session.

This is to inform the general public, Schools, Parents and Teachers whose wards or candidates registered in the 2022 NECO BECE and sat for the examination but couldn't attain the required score or performance in their respective subjects especially in English and Mathematics that they can now register for the 2022 BECE Resit examination in-order to stand a chance to gain admission into their desired schools.

Online registration for the 2022 NECO BECE Resit into the Senior Secondary School will commence from 18th July, 2022. Registration closes on 3rd August, 2022.

A. ABOUT NECO BECE EXAM

The Basic Education Certification Examination are taken by candidates to transit from the ninth year of the basic education class to the senior secondary, the BECE is conducted for candidates in their third year of the Junior Secondary School.

While each state of the federation and the FCT conducts the BECE for its candidates, NECO conducts the BECE for Federal Unity Colleges, Armed Forces Secondary Schools and other Federal establishments operating Secondary schools. Private Secondary schools also take part in the NECO BECE provided they are permitted by their State Ministries of Education.

Eighteen subjects are administered at the BECE level.

A candidate is expected to sit for a maximum of ten subjects.

A candidate is deemed to have passed the BECE if he/she has passes in six subjects including English and Mathematics.

The grading system is as follows:

A - Distinction
B - Upper Credit
C - Lower Credit
P - Pass
F - Fail

Principals and Commandants of Secondary Schools are hereby informed that the registration procedure used by the Council for the normal 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) should also be used while registering the resit candidates.

B. 2022 NECO BECE RESIT REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee for the resit examination per subject is One Thousand Five Hundred (N1,500.00) Naira Only.

C. PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION OF BECE RESIT

The procedure for registration of BECE resit is as follows:
➢ Login to your school profile with your center number, username and password
➢ Select Resit
➢ Select make payment
➢ Proceed to pay with any of the five payment options:

✓ Bank Branch
✓ USSD
✓ Internet Banking
✓ Wallet

D. 2022 NECO BECE RESIT EXAMINATION DATES 

The tentative dates for BECE Resit are 3rd and 4th August, 2022.

E. CLOSING DATE
