Ministry of Health, Ghana in Collaboration with Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS) Special Life Insurance Cover for Ten Thousand (10,000) Health Personnel and Allied Professionals who are involved in the Fight Against Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
Following the release of the Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS) on the Engagement of Nurses and Midwives in the Fight Against Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic, the Ministry of Ghana has announced the Special Life Insurance Cover for Ten Thousand (10,000) Health Personnel and Allied Professionals attending to (COVID-19) Pandemic Response.As health professionals and allied professionals at the front-line of the COVID-19 response, I seize the opportunity to thank you and your families sincerely for the sacrifice to this national challenge.
The Government of Ghana would like to communicate to the Heads of Agencies that the frontline staff involved in this response have been insured under the following cover:

| 2. | Critical Illness | 25,000.00 per life |
| 3. | Total Temporal Disability - All Courses | 10,000.00 per life |

Please note that the Allied Professionals include all men and women who have been deployed to respond to COVID-19.
Please bring this to the attention of all staff deployed and please ensure the appropriate documentation of the process which is strategic for the next steps.
