Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Begins Relocation / Re-Assigning of Candidates to Different Computer Based Test (CBT) Centers Few Days to the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Due to Technical Challenges from Previously Assigned Centers.
Latest Update: JAMB Reasons for Relocation of Candidates to Different CBT Centers.Information reaching us confirms that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have started relocating or re-assigning candidates to different CBT centers other than the ones candidates earlier choose during the 2020 UTME registration.
This is a new development from the Board and it is coming in just few days ahead of the 2020 UTME examination which has been scheduled to commence on 14th March, 2020.
According to Text messages sent to candidates registered mobile number from the Board it shows that the reason for relocation of candidates is to ensure no candidate experience any challenges during their examination as their previous assigned CBT centers have been found having issues which might not be rectified before candidates examination date approaches.
Below is an excerpt from the text messages been dispatched to some UTME candidates registered mobile numbers.
JAMB: As a result of challenges with your center location, the Board is changing your examination center details. Kindly reprint your slip to know your new assigned center as from tomorrow 11th March, 2020.
The above message shows that some CBT centers might have been compromised and the Board have to act swiftly to avoid jeopardizing their reputation of always conducting a credible Computer Based Test (CBT).
We are using this medium to urge all candidates who have received similar text message above to visit jamb.org.ng to reprint their examination slips in-order to confirm their new examination centers, date and time.
