Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDUSOK) Bans / Restrict the Movement of Tinted Vehicles on UDUS Campus by Students and the General Public.
In a memo released by the office of the Vice Chancellor of Usmanu Danfodiyo University which was signed by the Chief Security officer, Col. A.Y Gwandu (rtd), it was mentioned that the varsity will henceforth restrict the use of tinted vehicles on campus.According to the memo, the management has been monitoring the sudden offensive use of tinted vehicles on the streets of the campus and has decided to take several measures to curb it.
Among such measures are the punishment on defaulters of the ban and an issuance of tinted permit for varsity staff.
The memo reads:
THE UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT HAS OBSERVED WITH DISMAY THE FLAGRANT USE OF TINTED VEHICLES ON THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS. CONSEQUENTLY, STUDENTS ARE HEREBY WARNED TO HENCEFORTH DESIST FROM USING TINTED VEHICLES ON THE CAMPUS AS FAILURE TO DO SO WOULD ATTRACT APPROPRIATE ACTION AGAINST THE USER.
STAFF ARE ENJOINED TO NOTE THAT THE PERMIT THAT MAY BE ISSUED TO THEM ON THE USE OF TINTED VEHICLES DOES NOT EXTEND TO THEIR WARDS.
