Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) Scam Alert on Fake Admission Exercise and Fake Employment Opportunities / Job Vacancies Circulating Online by Fraudsters.
The attention of the Management of FUTO has been drawn to a series of scamming attempts using the name of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji.
We wish to draw the attention of the general public to the Activities of stammers and some unscrupulous individuals who have either cloned or set up spurious LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook accounts in the name of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji.
The accounts have been set up by fraudulent Impostors with the principal aim of defrauding unwary members of the public through offer of spurious jobs , contracts and admissions.
Members of the FUTA Community and the General Public are therefore enjoined not to have anything to do with or transact any business whatsoever with the cloned social media accounts and handles as they are not those of the Vice Chancellor of FUTA, ProfessorAdenike Oladiji.
