Akwa Ibom Schools Resumption Date 2024/2025 [2nd Term]
Akwa Ibom State Public and Private Primary and Secondary Schools First (1st), Second [2nd], Third (3rd) Term Resumption Date for 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Education has announced that the resumption date for the 2nd term of the 2024/2025 academic session is scheduled for Monday, 6th January 2025. This applies to all public primary, secondary, and technical schools, as well as private nursery, primary, and secondary schools across the state.


Key Information:

  1. Resumption Compliance:
    Principals and head teachers of public schools, as well as proprietors of private schools, are directed to ensure strict compliance with the resumption date.

  2. Commencement of Activities:
    Lessons and other school activities for the 2nd term are expected to start fully on the same day, Monday, 6th January 2025.

  3. Monitoring Visits:
    The Ministry of Education has indicated that unscheduled monitoring visits will be conducted in schools across the state to ensure adherence to the resumption date and proper commencement of academic activities.

  4. Message to Parents and Caregivers:
    Parents and caregivers are encouraged to ensure that their children and wards are prepared and present in school on the resumption date.
