NMC Ghana Registration Deadline for Newly Qualified Practitioners

Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Ghana Registration Deadline for Newly Qualified NAC/NAP Practitioners [EXTENDED].

Dear Cherished Clients, the Nursing and Midwifery Council's attention has been drawn by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association that as a result of the ban on public gathering due to the management of the Covid-19 pandemic, some newly qualified NAC/NAP practitioners have still not been able to complete the registration process.

As you may recall, even though the initial registration which was scheduled to end on March 31, 2020, the Council proactively extended it to May 29, 2020.

However in line with Government's directive on public sector operations, the following measures are being taken by the Council;

1. The deadline for the Registration of Newly qualified NAC/NAP practitioners has been extended further to July 3, 2020.

2. The Council's Regional Offices remain accessible to its Clients and Stakeholders during this period of Covid-19 pandemic

3. All preventive protocols communicated by relevant Government Agencies should be strictly observed by Staff and Stakeholders.

4. To reduce human contacts, Clients and Stakeholders seeking information about our operations are advised to contact the N&MC COVID-19 Information Resource Centre and our Call Center numbers (0302541423/0302522909/0200862772/0501079037) 
 
The Council urges all newly qualified NAC/NAP practitioners who have not completed the Registration process to do so within the stipulated period.
