The University hereby invites all eligible candidates to apply for admission for the POST BASIC NURSING PROGRAMME 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION.
 
The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, Ondo State is the first specialized University of Medical Sciences established in 2014 with the mission to foster excellence in teaching, research and service delivery in all health science disciplines.

Since its establishment, the University has created a niche for itself in being one of the few public universities with a stable uninterrupted academic calendar and exceptionally high quality educational delivery.

Sales of Online Admission Form into the UNIMED Post-Basic Nursing Programme commences on 13th May, 2020.

1.0 Duration Of Programme:


  • 18 Months

2.0 Entry Qualification:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
i. Registered Midwife Professional Certificate (RM) and
ii. West African School Certificate Examination "O" Level (WASCE) or National Examination Council (NECO) with at least 5 passes at Credit Level at not more than TWO sittings which must include English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics.

3. Method Of Application:


Prospective candidates are to register online by visiting the University Website (https://unimed.edu.ng) and click on POST BASIC NURSING under ADMISSION.

Application fee for admission cost Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000), Only.

4. Mode Of Payments:

Payment is ONLY via the UNIMED PAYMENT PLATFORM. Log on to www.unimed.edu.ng, Click Admission, Post Basic Nursing, and follow the instructions. PLS NOTE, You can only use VISA or MASTER Card. VERVE Card is not allowed.

Entrance Examination Date: 

  • 28th May, 2020

Closing Date Of Application:

  • 25th May, 2020
