West African Examination Board (WAHEB) Bans School of Health Technology, Jahun, Jigawa State from all Activities for Two (2) Years Following Cases of Impersonation During the Conduct of 2019 Environmental Health Technician/Environmental Health Assistant/Food Hygiene/Health Education and Promotion Examinations Held in February, 2020.
This Is to notify you that at the Annual Board meeting for the consideration and ratification of October 2019 Environmental Health Technicians/Environmental Health Assistants and Food Hygiene/Health Education and Promotion Examination results held between 24th- 29th February, 2020 at the Statement Hotel, Off Ahmadu Bello Way, Abuja, It was reported that some students from the Environmental Health Department of School of Health Technology, Jahun, Jigawa State were found to be involved in a case of impersonationIn view of the above, the Board has resolved as follows:
1. To Ban School of Health Technology, Jahun, Jigawa State from all WAHEB activities for a period of Two (2) years.
2. All the Lecturers/Tutors in the Environmental Health Department of the School are also banned from participating in all WAHEB activities for the same period
3. The school should not present any candidate for indexing for the period of the ban
4. Students of School of Health Technology, Jahun, Jigawa State writing the 2020 National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) examinations will be relocated to schools other than School of Health Technology, Jahun. Jigawa Stato to write their examinations.
