Osun State University (UNIOSUN) Centre for Human Resource Development and Lifelong Learning (CHRD) Basic Studies (IJMB and JUPEB) Admission Form, Requirements, Application Guidelines and Deadline for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the IJMB or JUPEB programmes of the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) for the 2022/2023 academic session.


About the Programme

The Centre also provides intensive one-year training leading to the Award of 'A' Level Certificates (similar to GCE Advanced Level) for those who desire Direct Entry into 200L in Universities within Nigeria and outside. The programmes runs two streams. A candidate may choose to undergo either of the programmes administered by these bodies: Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) or Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), or other administered by other foreign institutions like Cambridge and others.

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) through its Centre for Human Resource Development and Lifelong Learning (CHRDLL) and Interim Joint Matriculation Board is designed to prepare candidates for consideration for DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION to 200 level of regular degree programmes through the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination. The programme is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to regular degree programmes in Nigerian Universities for one reason or the other. The following are the available Programmes for which candidates can be offered admission after passing the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination.

Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into Osun State University (UNIOSUN) Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination must possess five (5) ordinary level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language. For candidates pursuing courses in Sciences, Engineering, Management and Social Sciences, credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory from any of WASC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO 200 LEVEL

For candidates to be admitted to 200 level, they must ;

  • Possess five credits in relevant subjects at O’ Level;
  • Apply through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by obtaining the DIRECT ENTRY FORMS from the JOINT ADMISSIONS AND MATRICULATION BOARD (JAMB)
  • Pass the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination. 
  • NOTE: The Programmes will be run at Osogbo (Main Campus), Ikire and Okuku campuses.


Method of Application

Prospective candidates will apply online via www.uniosun.edu.ng and the form will be processed accordingly. Candidates will further go through a screening exercise. Successful candidates will have their names published on-line and through SMS messages.

Application Guidelines:

  1. Visit the UNIOSUN IJMB / JUPEB Application Portal 
  2. Application Fee For IJMB OR JUPEB Programmes is N10,000
  3. RECOMMENDED: UNIOSUN Sandwich Degree Tuition & School Fees.
  4. Prospective candidates will apply and pay online through UNIOSUN Interswitch web pay platform.
  5. Complete the Online APPLICATION FORM, print and bring the printout along with photocopies of all your credentials on the day of the screening exercise which would be communicated accordingly later.
  6. After the screening, successful Part Time degree candidates will have their names published on-line and through SMS messages.
  7. RECOMMENDED: UNIOSUN Sandwich Degree Form 2022/2023 [Holidays & Long-Vacation] and UNIOSUN Part-Time Degree Admission Form 2022/2023.

  • First, Sign up here
  • You will need to provide a working email and phone number.
  • Create a password you can easily remember
  • After the signing up, your log in details will be displayed
  • Then, log in to your email to click on the confirmation link sent to your inbox or spam.
  • From there, you will be redirected to your login page, log in with the application number and password you chose.
  • Fill the first and second stages of the form. You will need your bio-data and O’level results during the filling.
  • Submit your application and print the two-page application formation slips.
