QuickLearning Mathematics Contest is a school-based mathematics competition for Secondary Schools students across the country.

1. Question: How does the competition work?
Answer: QuickLearning Mathematics Contest is a mathematics competition for students in JSS 3 and SS2. The competition is made up of two stages, the national CBT qualifying exam stage, while the second stage is the TV recording in Lagos. To write the National exam you have to register your school and your five best mathematics students in each category (JSS3 or SS3) on www.mathematics.quicklearning.africa

Answer: At the moment, QuickLearning Mathematics Contest is open to students from 12 - 17 years of age attending full time Junior Secondary Education (year 9) and (year 11) in both Public and Private Schools in Nigeria.

Registration:

Answer: Any student who is currently in Junior secondary school three (JSS3) year 9.

Answer: The system allows you to register a minimum of five students for each category

PRIZES

STAGE TWO

1. Question: How many students can qualify for the second stage?
Answer: Only 54 contestants can qualify for the stage two, they are made up of 17- best national winners and 37 selected state representatives, having scored the highest marks in their respective states.
2. Question: I passed the online test, why wasn’t I selected for the second stage?
Answer: The 54 qualified contestants are made up of 17 best national winners and 37 selected state representatives who scored the highest marks in their respective states.
3. Question: I was the third best in my state, why was I not selected for the second stage?
Answer: 37 contestants of the 54 qualified students are selected state representatives, having scored the highest marks in their respective states. Only the contestant with the highest mark from each state and the first 17 national contestants that scored the highest overall marks in the competition will be selected for the second stage.
4. Question: For those who did not make the best 54, what other benefit can they look out for?
Answer: The best 3 students per state who did not make it to round 2 will be issued e-certificates alongside their various schools. The best 20 students per state (740 students) will be eligible to attend a free one-month online summer coaching organized by the sponsor, Quicklearning.
5. Question: Why was I not selected for the second stage even when I got a higher score than my friend who was selected from another state?
