Lagos State University (LASU) Announces Introduction of Fifty Percent (50%) Refund of School Fees to Best Deserving Students who Maintains a Cumulative Grade Point Average( CGPA) of 4.50 Every Session.
The Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University (LASU) on Monday 25th October, 2021 announces the introduction of a new policy on refund of fifty percent school fees to deserving students each session.
She made this announcement at the Lagos State University (LASU) Matriculation Ceremony for the 2020/2021 academic session which was held on Monday 25th October, 2021 where over 6,000 students took their matriculation oath.
According to the Vice Chancellor, the introduction of the policy is to promote healthy competition.The Policy guarantees fifty percent (50%) refund of school fees to University Scholars, only for deserving students who consistently maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average( CGPA) of 4.50 every session.
Lastly, she enjoined the Matriculating students to be mindful of friends they choose.
"Bad friends destroy good habits. The University has zero tolerance for cultism, examination malpractices, corruption and hooliganism. Those found culpable will be dealt with, in line with our disciplinary mechanisms. Show respect to your colleagues and staff in the University to make your stay successful and productive.
