2023 WAEC May/June WASSCE Withheld Result Statistics: West African Examination Council [WAEC] Withheld Results Statistics for the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) For School Candidates (May/June) SSCE Examination 16.29% Results Withheld Due to Exam Malpractice.

Following the Release and announcement of the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) For School Candidates Results and the 2023 WAEC May/June Result Statistics the West African Examination Council [WAEC] has also published the withheld results statistics of all affected candidates.


2023 WAEC May/June (School Candidates) SSCE Withheld Result Statistics | 16.29% Results Withheld

According to Head of the Nigeria National Office, WAEC, Mr Patrick Areghan he said the results of Two Hundred and Sixty-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred and Three (262,803) candidates, representing 16.29% of the total number of candidates that sat the examination, are being withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.

The cases are being investigated and reports of the investigations will be presented to the appropriate Committee of the Council for determination in due course. The Committee’s decisions will be communicated directly to the affected candidates thereafter.

Also, Out of the total number of candidates that sat the examination,1,476,565 candidates, representing 91.5 per cent have been fully processed and released while 137,168 candidates, representing 8.5 per cent have a few of their subjects still being processed.

However, efforts are being made to speedily complete the processing to enable all the affected candidates to get their results fully processed and released, subsequently.
