Following the Release and announcement of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) For School Candidates Results and the 2025 WAEC May/June Result Statistics the West African Examination Council [WAEC] has also published the withheld results statistics of all affected candidates.

According to Head of the Nigeria National Office, WAEC, Mr Amos Dangut he said the results of Two Hundred and Sixty-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred and Three (262,803) candidates, representing 13.34% of the total number of candidates that sat the examination, are being withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.
The cases are being investigated and reports of the investigations will be presented to the appropriate Committee of the Council for determination in due course. The Committee’s decisions will be communicated directly to the affected candidates thereafter.
So far, the results of 1,517,517 candidates (77.06 per cent) have been fully processed and released, while 451,796 candidates (22.94 per cent) still have one or more subjects pending due to issues being resolved.
However, efforts are being made to speedily complete the processing to enable all the affected candidates to get their results fully processed and released, subsequently.
