2023 UTME Mock: JAMB to Reschedule 2023 Mock Exams
Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has Announced that the 2023 UTME-Mock Examinations Would be Rescheduled for all Candidates who Experienced Issues or Hitches While Sitting for their Exams on March 30th, 2023, at No Additional Cost.

On Thursday, 176,408 candidates nationwide sat for the 2023 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Mock-UTME), administered by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

However, in some Computer Based Test (CBT) centers in Abuja, some candidates experienced difficulties and were unable to take the examination.

JAMB's Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, assured the affected candidates that they would be rescheduled to take the exam on a later date at no additional cost.

He further stated that the Board would review all issues that arose during the mock exercise to enhance the main examination's quality.

The introduction of the Mock-UTME by JAMB was intended to allow the Board to assess innovations to be used in the main exam and provide candidates with practical experience in the CBT environment.

The exercise, introduced over six years ago, has given JAMB the opportunity to trial new approaches that have significantly improved its ability to conduct a world-class assessment exercise.
