The Cross River State Ministry of Education has approved the academic calendar for public and private schools for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 sessions.

2024/2025 Academic Session

First Term

  • Resumption Date: Monday, 9th September 2024
  • Closing Date: Friday, 13th December 2024
  • Duration: 13 weeks (63 days)
  • Holiday Period: Saturday, 14th December 2024 – Sunday, 5th January 2025 (4 weeks)

Second Term

  • Resumption Date: Monday, 6th January 2025
  • Closing Date: Friday, 11th April 2025
  • Duration: 14 weeks (68 days)
  • Holiday Period: Saturday, 12th April 2025 – Sunday, 27th April 2025 (2 weeks)

Third Term

  • Resumption Date: Monday, 28th April 2025
  • Closing Date: Friday, 1st August 2025
  • Duration: 14 weeks (68 days)
  • Holiday Period: Saturday, 2nd August 2025 – Sunday, 14th September 2025 (6 weeks)

2025/2026 Academic Session

First Term

  • Resumption Date: Monday, 15th September 2025
  • Closing Date: Friday, 12th December 2025
