2026 NECO SSCE (Internal) Timetable [15th June - 23rd July]
UPDATED NECO Timetable for 2026 June/July Examination (SSCE): National Examination Council of Nigeria [NECO] June/July Internal Senior School Certificate Examination [SSCE] Original/Authentic Time-Table / Dates and Time and Official Time-Table for 2025/2026 Academic Session Published [Download in PDF].

This is to inform all candidates who registered for the NECO School Certificate Examination [SSCE] for 2025/2026 that the examination dates has been announced.

According to the National Examination Council of Nigeria [NECO] the June/July SSCE 2024 examination will commence from Monday 15th June to Thursday 23rd July, 2026.

The Official NECO June/July SSCE Examination Time-Table which contains the list of Subjects and their various exam time has been released and uploaded online.


Principals and Teachers of various Schools are advised to visit the Council website or using the Download link to obtain a copy of the official Time-Table for their various schools.

Please be informed that the online registration for the NECO June/July Exam Registration is ongoing and expected to close soon.

Schools who are yet to register and submit their Students data are urged to do so before the above stipulated date.

Important Notes

  1. Every candidate must have a photocard for identification during the examination.
  2. If the time written on the question paper differs from the timetable, follow the time on the question paper strictly.
  3. For:
    • Physical Education Practical (Paper I)
    • French Paper IV
    • Music Paper IV
    • Arabic Paper IV
      Candidates should confirm the exact examination venue from NECO State Offices.
  4. Science and Computer Studies practicals may be conducted in sets/batches where candidates are many and equipment is limited.
  5. Visual Arts Paper IV (Creative Design) should be given to candidates at least one week before the exam date.
  6. Nigerian Languages (Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba) include Literature components.
  7. Albino and blind candidates are allowed 30 extra minutes at the end of each subject.
  8. Blind candidates must use the NECO supplied OBR customised Braille sheet during the examination.
  9. Scientific calculators are allowed.
  10. Bringing electronic communication gadgets into the exam hall is strictly prohibited, including:
  • Programmable calculators
  • Mobile phones
  • iPads
  • Tablets
  • Smart wrist watches
  • Smart glasses
  • Electronic pens, etc.
  1. Candidates who do not sit for Practical Paper I will not have results released for that subject.
  2. Trade subject questions are hybrid in nature.
