NMC Ghana Caution on Payment of Monies by Candidates to Invigilators

Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Ghana Cautions Candidates on Payment of Monies to Invigilators or Chief Invigilators During Licensing Examinations.

At the Stakeholders meeting to evaluate the NICHE-261 Online Examination Project in 2019 in Accra, the Representative of the Ghana Nurse-Midwife Trainee Association (GNMTA) alleged that candidates of the licensing examinations conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council contributed monies for invigilators under the pretext of influencing the supervision.

The Council wishes to state unequivocally that it is unaware of these developments and has not authorized any Chief Invigilator or Invigilator to either collect money or arrive at any monetary arrangements with Candidates in return for any sort of undue favour relating to the supervision and conduct of licensing examination.
