New Steps / Working Method on How to Retrieve or Recover Your Lost or Misplaced Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) Profile Code Due to Lost SIM Card / Misplaced Lines for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates [JAMB Self Help on Profile Codes].

The management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released a new and working method for all candidates who have an issue of Lost Sim Card or Misplaced Line and at such couldn't register for the ongoing 2025 UTME/DE Registration Exercise because they couldn't retrieve or recover their previous or old JAMB Profile Code.

5 Easy Steps to Retrieve or Recover Lost JAMB Profile Code 2025 [New Method] | Lost JAMB SIM Card Advisory

All returning JAMB Candidates who claimed to have lost their SIM Cards for the 2025 UTME/DE Registration are hereby advised to follow the outlined guidelines to successfully recover their old JAMB Profile Code.

The Board is aware that some candidates who subscribed for the 2024 UTME/DE and previous years who still desire to subscribe for the 2025 UTME/DE are unable to register due to alleged loss of their SIM card.

Below are the steps in attending to this category of candidates.

1. Visiting JAMB Offices or Accredited CBT Centres:

All candidates with this challenge are to visit any JAMB Office or Accredited JAMB CBT Centres near them as they can only be attended at JAMB offices or CBT Centers Only.

2. Presentation of a Court Affidavit:

Each candidate in this category must present an affidavit which should clearly state that the GSM number belonged to him/her and was used to apply for the 2024 UTME/DE or previous years.

3. Verification of Biometrics:

The candidate must be verified using biometrics.

4. Final Verification of Biometrics and Change of New SIM Card Number:

Once the candidate has been verified with biometrics and confirmed to be the same candidate, the new GSM number can be supplied. This must be entered twice.

NB:
  • The affidavit must be uploaded before the new GSM number can be updated against the candidate.

5. Easily Recover Your JAMB Old Profile Code

Finally, after the update, the candidate can then use a RESEND command from the new GSM number to retrieve his/her profile code and proceed with registration.

To retrieve a lost profile code, send [RESEND] to 55019 OR 66019 as a text message from the same mobile number .

Candidate can reset lost or forgotten Profile Password on their registered cell phone by sending [password] space [email address] to 55019 OR 66019 as a text message from the same mobile number

Thank you.
