InterswitchSPAK Prizes for Teachers & Students [Nigeria & Kenya]

2021 InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition Cash Prizes for Teachers and Senior Secondary School [Year II] for Nigeria and Kenya Winners.

The InterswitchSPAK is an annual search across high schools (public and private) in Nigeria for only SS 2 (year 11) students between the ages of 14-17 years.

It is introduced to chart the ideal career path and drive the student towards full optimization of their potentials and fulfillment of their dreams (either as an inventor or entrepreneur) with a key message of revving up the interest of students; parents, teachers and other key stakeholders towards STEM education and its application in Africa

The Sponsors of the InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition has announced the Cash Prizes/Gifts that will be awarded to the winners and participant of the competition for the 2020/2021 Edition.

InterswitchSPAK Finale Grand Prizes for Teachers & Students 2021 [Nigerians & Kenyans]

A. NIGERIA

  1. Overall 1st Winner will be awarded a 5-year scholarship in any Nigerian tertiary institution, a laptop, gold trophy and monthly stipends for the 5 years, all totaling N7.5million.
  2. Overall 2nd winner will be given a 3-year scholarship, a laptop, silver trophy accordingly and monthly stipends for the 3 years, all totaling N4million
  3. Overall Third winner will receive a 1-year scholarship, a laptop, and a bronze trophy worth ₦1,000,000

B. KENYA

First Prize
  • Five (5) years University Scholarship worth- KSH 1,500,000 + annual stipend (T&C) + Laptop + Certificate of participation

Second Prize
  • Three (3) years University Scholarship worth- KSH 750,000 + annual stipend (T&C) + Laptop + Certificate of participation

Third Prize
  • A year University Scholarship worth- KSH 150,000 (T&C) + Laptop + Certificate of participation.

All students who make it to the TV quiz competition stage would get plagues, certificate of participation and educational grants among st other things:


Notes

  • The winners of the InterswitchSPAK + Project will be rewarded with Founders Award
  • 1 st to 3 rd place winners stand an optional chance of being employed by Interswitch
  • Please note that all the participating schools are expected to be rewarded with e- certificates and other prizes based on their different point/s of disengagement 

InterswitchSPAK National Competition Winners Prize List

  1. 1st Position - 250,000 Naira
  2. 2nd Position - 150,000 Naira
  3. 3rd Position - 100,000 Naira
  4. 4th – 5th Position - 60,000 Naira each
  5. 6th – 9th Position - 50,000 Naira each
  6. 10th – 27t h Position - 30,000 Naira each
  7. 28th – 81st Position - 20,000 Naira each

Teachers who nurture the students and their schools will also be rewarded.


He advised every school across the nation to register their top six students, adding that many girl-children are encouraged to register.
