A. NIGERIA

1. Wow… What’s InterswitchSPAK all about?
InterswitchSPAK, a switch-a-future Initiative is a unique intervention developed to identify, promote and ignite the right support and reward for STEM students in Africa. It is strictly for SS2 (Year 11) students between the ages of 14-17 years.

3. When can we start Registration for InterswitchSPAKSPAK?

4. Can Parents register their wards for InterswitchSPAKSPAK?
Students are expected to get registered through their school. However, interested Parents can encourage ward’s school to register their best six (6) students.

5. When is the InterswitchSPAK registration closing?
Registration closes on Sunday 26th Apr 2020.

6. Who is qualified in my school that can be part of InterswitchSPAK?
The qualified Students are the best six (6) Science students in SS2 (Year 11) in your School.

7. How much is the InterswitchSPAK registration fee?
Participation on InterswitchSPAK is FREE for all (schools/students)

8. When is the InterswitchSPAK National Qualifying examination?
The 2020 National Qualifying Examination holds on the Saturday 2nd May 2020.

9. Is there room for students to register manually for InterswitchSPAK?
Registration to participate is strictly online via https://interswitchspak.com/

10. What are the items required for the InterswitchSPAK Examination?
Students are to come along with only a HB pencil, eraser, ruler and statistical table, NO CALCULATORS WILL BE ALLOWED and all Students MUST come to the exam venue in their School Uniform. Students must also come to their designated examination centers as early as possible.

10. How can I select an examination center during InterswitchSPAK Registration?
To select examination centre, you click on the Examination Center Dropdown, which appears immediately after the Category is selected to view the nearest examination centre to you. You must have begun registration too.

11. I keep logging in to my SInterswitchPAK account and my email seems to be invalid, what do I do?
Check your email for the verification of your email you registered with, without that you can’t continue with your log in.

12. How many students can a school register for InterswitchSPAK??
The only required number to register is six (6) in all. However, if it’s a mixed school, at least two ( 2) must be female

13. I have challenge logging in toInterswitch SPAK?
Make sure you are using the right email address and password or check your internet connection

14. What do I do after registering my school for InterswitchSPAK Competition?
As soon as your registration is successful, download slip and start preparing your students ahead of the National qualifying examination of Saturday 2nd May 2020.

15. I can’t remember my InterswitchSPAK password?
Reset your password with the forget password button on the log in page.

16. I am having problem clicking the InterswitchSPAK register button to submit my students form
To submit students form, choose the category you are interested in (e.g Science), Choose your Examination Center, then highlight all candidates names before clicking the Register button.

17. I mistakenly inputted more than six (6) students, how do I delete it in Interswitch SPAK?
Select the number of students you ought to register and ignore others else registration will be hindered.

18. I am having issues uploading the passport of my students during InterswitchSPAK Registration
Check the format in which the picture is saved and also make sure it is not larger than the required.

19. What are the subjects I need to prepare my students for at the InterswitchSPAK National Qualifying Exam?
Each school is to prepare their representatives for the qualifying exams in Mathematics, Physics; Chemistry & Biology based on the current SS2 WAEC/NECO syllabuses.

20. I mispelt my candidate name during SPAK registration?

21. What time are we expected at the InterswitchSPAK Examination center?
Students must come to their designated examination centres by 10am for accreditation

22. Must we register for InterswitchSPAK Competition using a desktop computer only?
SPAK web page can be accessed both on desktop, Mobile and Smartphone devices

23. How Long is the Test
The examination is for 1hr 15mins

24. When are we likely going to have the InterswitchSPAK result published?
Students are advised to check their results via the online platform (https://interswitchspak.com/ ) from Wednesday 3rd June 2020.

25. Are the questions for The InterswitchSPAK National Qualifying Examination Multiple Choice and Theory?
No, They are strictly 100 Multiple Choice (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics) Questions in all

B. KENYA.

1. When can we start Registration for InterswitchSPAK?
The registration starts on Sunday 9th February 2020.

2. When is the registration closing?
Registration closes on Sunday 10th May 2020.

3. Who is qualified in my school that can be part of InterswitchSPAK?
The qualified Students are the best six (6) Science students in Form 3 in your School.

4. How much is the registration fee?
Participation on InterswitchSPAK is FREE for all (schools/students)

5. When is the National Qualifying examination?
National qualifying examination holds Saturday 16th May 2020.

6. Is there room for students to register manually?
Registration to participate is strictly online via www.interswitchspak.com

7. Where are the test centres?
There are over 35 test centers across Kenya with each county having at least one test center. You will be able to pick a convenient test center during registration

8. How long is the test?
The test consists of 100 questions with a duration of 1 hour 15 minutes.

When and where do we get the results?
It takes two weeks for the results to be released which will be on Monday 1st June 2020 and will be available to all on this portal.
