NCEE Registration Statistics for Unity Schools 2021/2022

National Examination Council (NECO) Federal Government Unity Colleges / Schools National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) Registration Statistics Nationwide for 2021/2022 Academic Session.

The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu after the conclusion of the National Common Entrance Examination for admission of candidates into the 110 Federal Government Colleges on Saturday, 5th June, 20212 announced the registration statistics.


The Minister while monitoring the conduct of the 2021 National Common Entrance Examination disclosed that over 76,855 candidates registered for the examination. Statistics provided by the board, which gave details  on candidates that sat for the examination, revealed that Lagos had the highest number of candidates with 21,423  candidates followed by FCT, 8,674 candidates, Anambra 5,738 and Zamfara had 4,865 while Taraba had the least registered number of candidates with 113. Only 3,000 admission spaces are available.

The data released also showed that the number of girls that registered for the examination was 39,555 while a total of 37,300 male candidates registered for the examination.

The government also disclosed its intention to expand the carrying capacity of the schools to 30,000 students from the current 26,000 students.
